FNA Pulse Crop Centre
2016 International Year of Pulses
The United Nations has declared 2016 to be the Year of Pulse Crops.
FNA is enthusiastic about participating in the celebration and encourages all those with an interest in pulses, from growers and industry, to nutritionists and consumers, to make the most of the declaration.
Promoting the growth and consumption of pulse crops is a positive moral and social value, with health, environmental, social and economic benefits that multiply across developing and developed countries together.
FNA is engaging in two categories of participation in the Year of Pulses: Consumers and Growers. Please explore either section by clicking the appropriate button.
This video discusses the purpose of declaring the Year of Pulses and the merit of pulses as food.
